Practicing Speaking Spanish

Selecting an activity from Global Scholar to practice my Spanish.

Out of the options given to me I have chosen to sit down with a Spanish Speaker and talk over coffee. The person I have chosen is my grandmother. This scenario is difficult for me because most people in the United States do not speak Spain Spanish; therefore, I can only practice Latin American Spanish or South America Spanish.

During my talk with my grandmother I was able to ask her about what words are taught different in Spain and how they talk differently. By the end of my conversation I felt more confident speaking spanish and had a better understanding of how Spaniards talk.
